Book, chapter and verse

In the Digital Index, choose the testament and use Book, Chapter and Verse selectors. Click a list item or type with the selector focused. Book names accept an accent-free prefix; chapters and verses accept existing numbers.

  1. Choose New Testament and John.
  2. Select or enter 3 in Chapter; Enter focuses the next selector.
  3. Select or enter 16 in Verse; Enter navigates.
  4. The open button also navigates to the chosen reference.

Go straight to a reference

Ctrl+G opens Go to when the cover, reader or Index has focus. Type John 3:16 in the reference field and press Enter. If the reference is not recognized, the field shows an error and keeps focus. You can also select the testament, book and chapter with the mouse.

Turn pages and adjust text

With the reader focused, Right or PgDn advances one page; Left or PgUp goes back. Ctrl+PgDn and Ctrl+PgUp navigate chapters. Ctrl+= and Ctrl+- adjust the text size. Keys may behave differently in text fields and dialogs: check the focus before using them.
