Open search
With the cover, reader or Index focused, Ctrl+F opens the Digital Index focused on Search. Enter a phrase and check the scope before viewing results. This is not browser search or personal note search.
Exact and Flexible
Exact searches phrases in the order entered. Whole Word requires word boundaries; case sensitivity distinguishes upper and lower case. Flexible separates words: AND requires all terms in the same verse, in any order; OR accepts any term. Both modes preserve accents in this snapshot: coração and coracao differ.
Teaching example without Bible text
Imagine two synthetic records: A contains “love and hope”; B contains “hope”. Exact “love and hope” finds A. Flexible AND with “love hope” finds A; Flexible OR finds A and B. This demonstrates the rule, not counts or text from a distributed Bible translation.
Scope and editorial content
Scope can cover the entire Bible, Old Testament, New Testament or a book range. By default, only verse text is searched. Include editorial adds headings, extras and cross-references with source labels. In inspected JFACF, “desflorada” appears in a heading: no Bible results with editorial off, an editorial match with it on. This does not certify a public release.
