Reading history
History lists opened passages and their origins. Click to select; double-click or Open in Bible navigates. Clear history asks for confirmation and removes that translation's entries. History does not replace note or bookmark backups.
Back and forward
After using the Index, a direct reference or a bookmark, Alt+Left returns to the previous position and Alt+Right moves forward again when the reader has focus. These shortcuts navigate recent jumps; the history list is a separate tool.
Save your stopping point
Set a ribbon or choose You stopped at on the paper bookmark to return to a reference. The reader also saves position, but exact restoration between sessions needs testing in the distributed package. Preserve data with a verified backup procedure before updating.
