Collection and filters
The inspected code loads a bundled Markdown catalog with 1,249 entries. Category filters include Harpa and HCC; filtered counts show matches, not the collection total. Each collection's availability and license must accompany the distributed package.
Search by a lyric excerpt
Three steps in the inspected panel:
- Open Hymns in the study tools and choose a category or leave the general filter selected.
- In Search by name or lyric excerpt, enter a word from a stanza in your installed collection.
- Open a result and check the stanza. If nothing appears, remove the category filter and try another word; search depends on the collection's text in your version.
Personal edition
Add song, Edit and Delete affect personal data; they do not change the bundled Markdown. The editor accepts categories and lyrics in lines, with a blank line between stanzas. Back up before reinstalling or changing computers. This site does not republish lyrics from the collection.
