What the backup includes
Full backup creates a new folder containing a manifest, available personal data, selected preferences and required personal images. The manifest records each file's version, size and SHA-256. Missing study files are marked as absent; none are fabricated. The package does not include the bundled Bible corpus or ABSVD 7 proprietary backup files.

Create and keep a copy
In Study tools → Full backup, choose Export backup… and an empty destination. Keep the entire folder, including manifest.json and the created files. Make a second copy somewhere you control; confirm it opens as a package before deleting old installations or data. Do not send personal studies to others just to get help.
Restore with preview
Use Restore backup…, select the package folder and read the “now → package” preview. The app validates format, files, size and hashes before changing data. Confirming replaces current modules present in the package; absent modules stay unchanged. Cancel does not restore. Back up the current state before replacing data.
Post-restore checklist
Open a sample note, a bookmark, a Verse Wallet entry and a test sermon, if available. Check your personal cover/background and active Bible translation. If anything differs from the preview, preserve both packages and record the app version, module type, preview counts and error message without automatically attaching private content.
